Video walls are great for showing a lot of information from different sources at once, which makes them especially well-suited in a command and control room or operations center.
In a commercial or educational setting, a video wall serves as a large visual desktop where content from various groups can be displayed. And in a retail setting, product displays enhance marketing and branding.
Many factors enter in to developing an RFP for a video wall. It’s important the integrator understands:
- The end-user’s expectations for how they will work with the wall
- Any need for readily available content configurations on the wall
- If users will move and size the source windows in real time
And that’s in addition to all the basic facts regarding size, location, lighting and more.
