We’ve compiled a list of relevant news that you may have missed coming out of Interop 2015:
- 10Gtek featured its newly released QSFP28 DAC Copper cable, which is available in lengths ranging from 1m to 5m and allows for a serial data transmission up to 100Gb/s.
- AIC demonstrated its new server chassis solutions, including the HA201-TP, HA401-CP2, RSC-3ET, TB216-AA and SB122-PH. Designed for various storage capacity, computational power and compliance requirements, AIC products feature high-availability, a tool-less design for easier integration and service or NEBS/ FIPS hardware design.
- Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise‘s Intelligent Fabric speeds up deployments and simplifies network operations with game changing automation, improving agility of IT operations. Available on OmniSwitch 6900/10K switches, Intelligent Fabric enables simpler network designs, easier interoperability, plug-n-play deployment and automatic reconfiguration with server/device/application moves/adds/changes, delivering reduced costs, set up and maintenance.
- Apposite Technologies announced TrafficJam, a new product line of low cost, high performance test tools that generate TCP and UDP data streams to measure the capacity of networks and networking equipment.
- Avaya announced a new line of premium stackable Ethernet switches to help businesses with Internet of Things strategies. As part of the Avaya SDN Fx architecture, the ERS 5900 series provides a smooth migration from legacy technologies to new and emerging technologies that unify wired and wireless networks and enable full automation to the edge.
- Blackfin announced the release of ThreatForge, the world’s first fully integrated security training and assessment platform. Train, assess and provide users with a place to practice new skills in a virtualized workspace.
- CloudGenix demoed CloudGenix ION, which radically simplifies how WANs are designed and managed. By eliminating the need for enterprise routing, customers can build ‘Networks without Networking’ and achieve over two times the performance at less than half the cost.
- Elfiq Neworks‘ new offering allows organizations to easily deploy Hybrid WAN infrastructures.
- ESET highlighted a completely reengineered, redesigned suite of business products which debuted in February. ESET provides award-winning security software to more than 100 million users globally.
- Fiber Mountain announced elements of Glass Core, a new approach to network architecture which integrates software and hardware innovations to increase the capacity, efficiency, agility and scalability of networks while reducing cost.
- Fixstream demonstrated demonstrate its FixStream Meridian IT Operational Analytics and Visualization Platform. Meridian enables IT leaders to see, troubleshoot and plan cloud application infrastructure in near real time in ways not possible before.
- FreeConferenceCall.com launched FreeConferenceCall.com For Business. The service delivers high-quality free HD audio conferencing supported by account management, web/video conferencing, enterprise billing and customized analytics.
- Freescale Semiconductor an innovative switching platform based on QorIQ multicore processors and VortiQa software. This solution leads the way to a secure network using Software-Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization programmability and agility
- Geist unveiled Environet Asset, giving users full control and visualization of logical and physical data center infrastructure, allowing for efficient and cost effective data center operation over all stages of device life cycles. It enables collection, organization, and visualization of information needed to manage assets, network connections, and power connections.
- Global Telecommunication Systems, LLC announced a partnership with AT&T to offer new end-to-end services, including managed Internet, mobility and VoIP. Designed with the end-user in mind, GTS services provide service and support, ensuring that each customer is satisfied with products and services they receive.
- InVue demoed for the first time CT100, which delivers 24/7 accessibility, an unparalleled user experience and eliminates the concern of theft.
- IP Infusion unveiled OcNOS, a full-featured network operating system for data centers and enterprise networks that are adopting the standards of the Open Compute Project, an open hardware movement and foundation.
- iwNetworks announced Gemini Open Cloud, an all-encompassing virtualization and cloud service provisioning turn-key solution. It includes cloud virtualization infrastructure, service provisioning, and cloud service management portals
- Lithium Power, Inc. offered the first ever lithium backup battery with a 10 year warranty. The ESS-500 is a technological breakthrough product with unique balancing technology suitable for telecom towers, data centers, computer servers, clouding servers and PBX systems.
- Revolabs debuted the FLX UC 1500 IP & USB Conference Phone with Extension Microphones—designed to support teams of up to 18 people in larger conference rooms. Integrated SIP technology bridges USB and VoIP calls in one conference phone.
- Riverbed announced Riverbed SteelFusion 4.0, the first and only hyper-converged infrastructure solution for the branch of the future, and Riverbed SteelCentral Portal, a breakthrough software solution for managing application performance in today’s hybrid IT environments.
- Waterford Technologies released FileAnalyzer CLOUD. This SaaS will quickly and easily give organizations in-depth visibility into their file servers to highlight usage trends and optimize current infrastructure.
