With so much happening at the show, it’s easy to lose track of some of the announcements and information coming out of Enterprise Connect. We’ve compiled a list of some of the announcements that you should be paying attention to:
Sprint Wins Best of Enterprise Connect Award
Enterprise Connect Orlando, produced by UBM Tech, announced Sprint Workplace-as-a-Service as the winner of the esteemed Best of Enterprise Connect award, which recognizes an exhibitor who has made the most significant technological advancements in enterprise communications and collaboration. Unveiled at the event this week, Sprint Workplace-as-a-Service is a new integrated and fully managed IT and communication solution.
“We congratulate our best in show winner, Sprint, on the launch of Sprint Workplace-as-a-Service. This new offering represents innovative thinking about the evolving role of the service provider in enterprise networks,” said Enterprise Connect Co-Chair Eric Krapf. “Though we’ve yet to see its full capability, Sprint Workplace-as-a-Service promises collaboration, integration and interoperability.”
Unify Delivers Enhanced Capabilities to Circuit
Unify, a communications software and services firm, continued its drive to enable effortless communication with the announcement of the latest enhancements to Circuit, the company’s next generation communication and collaboration platform launched in October 2014. Key new circuit capabilities include:
- Circuit Enterprise Integrator including a universal telephony connector and Microsoft exchange contacts connector
- Box connector for sharing files stored in Box
- Guest access for external parties to join
- Meeting recording for audio
- Android application in addition to iOS application already available
Vonage Adds Two New Products to Business Communications Portfolio
As part of its continued commitment to provide the most comprehensive portfolio of advanced communications solutions for business customers, Vonage announced the launch of two new products: VideoConnect and ChannelSphere. These products further enhance Vonage’s ability to serve the Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) needs of businesses. VideoConnect is an on-demand virtual meeting space that enables business-quality face-to-face video collaboration for impromptu or scheduled meetings. VideoConnect can be used by anyone who has a browser and web cam. ChannelSphere is a proprietary partner portal designed to save time while providing a highly individualized quote. The portal gives partners access to tools that can auto-configure a complete cloud solution at the click of a button providing instant quotes, including the recommended hardware and software solutions for each customer.
