Epson has released eight new projectors designed for K-12 classrooms and small-to-medium-sized conference rooms that offer better audio, connectivity and widescreen options that can aid in both in-person and remote learning.
The new projects are the PowerLite E20, X49, 118, 119W, 982W, 992F and 1288. They range from budget friendly, network-ready classroom projectors to wireless, portable meeting room solutions, according to Epson.
They range in price from $379 for the PowerLite E20 to $1,049 for the Powerlite 992F.
The projects are designed to be Portland, flexible and support versatile and immersive projection in a variety of environments, putting them a step above flat panel displays.
The projectors leverage Epson’s 3LCD technology and up to 4,200 lumens of equal color and white brightness. They can project up to 350 inches of content with split screen capabilities and advanced network connectivity to allow for remote management and multi-device integration.

They’re also efficient and can last up to 17,000 hours, the company says.
Some of the projects include Espon’s iProjection app with a built-in moderator function that allows up to 50 users to connect and simultaneously display content from up to four devices.
“As educators look for new ways to enhance virtual lessons and companies explore how to provide better visibility in more spread out conference rooms, Epson focuses on designing accessible technologies that adapt to current display needs and help drive productivity and engagement,” said Veronika Knight, product manager at Epson America, Inc.
“Compatible with a wide range of devices and widely-used software, the new models deliver big, bright, easy-to-read presentations and offer simple projection tools for easy integration into today’s corporate and education environments.”
Schools can purchase these projectors through Epson’s Brighter Futures program, a model designed to help budget-conscious schools select and deploy the best products for their classrooms.
The program also includes technical support, extended limited warranty coverage and dedicated account managers.
