My TechDecisions Podcast 153: The Importance Of Audio For Hybrid Work
William Zadnik, applications engineer at Shure, joins the podcast to talk about how audio has become critical for hybrid working.
On this episode of the My TechDecisions Podcast, we speak with William Zadnik, applications engineer at audio device manufacturer Shure, about how audio has become more important than video for hybrid working.
The interview comes after a recently released whitepaper by Frost & Sullivan, in collaboration with Shure, found that 57% of teams expect to be in the office less than 10 days each month in the long term. Equally notable, the whitepaper found that 98% of employees believe future meetings will always include remote participants.
According to Zadnik, high-quality audio technology can reduce the negative impact to hybrid work productivity imposed by roadblocks to collaboration like sound cutting out, echo, background noise and participants not being able to be heard.
