Top 7 Technology Projects of the Year - 2018

If you’re familiar with TechDecisions, then you’ve likely checked out more than a few of the Project of the Week winners throughout the year.

For those who don’t know, each week, TechDecisions chooses a project to highlight as our Project of the Week. We post the story on our front page, promote it on our social media, and even send it out in a dedicated newsletter to our entire audience.

Suffice it to say we take pride in the projects we choose to highlight on a week-to-week basis. We’ve featured corporate unified communications projects, digital signage at higher education institutions, streaming solutions for live events from concerts to sporting events, and more.

As the year comes to an end it’s natural to look back and take stock of what the previous year brought. In this case, we decided to take a look at all of the Project of the Week winners in 2018. While all of them were impressive and interesting, there were some that stood out from the pack. Whether it was because of the complexity of the design, the scale, or the ingenuity, we found ourselves once again impressed.

So, we decided to round up five of our favorites to name the Projects of the Year. The following projects have appeared on the site as a Project of the Week in 2018. In no particular order:

Note: Submitting to Project of the Week is simple. Head over to our submission page, follow the prompts, and your project will be submitted for consideration. Once a project is submitted, it is eligible for all upcoming Project of the Weeks. So if you don’t win the first week, your project will still be under consideration for all future weeks. No need to re-submit.
