From laser pointers to control panels, your typical office presentation has come a long way from the clear plastic sheets of an overhead projector. However, convenience does not end at an easier way to switch inputs — app developers have created applications specifically designed to not only control the functional aspects of your projector, but aid in the presentation of content as well.

With networkable projector remotes, your mobile device can control every aspect of your machine, and presentation, so you can get your job done with a swipe of your finger. When looking for a good projector control app it is important to find an app that can not only share content, but control all important projector functions — even multiple projectors at once. You will be hard pressed to find a large array of generic projector remotes, but brand specific apps are available for a handful of well known series.

Downloading a brand-specific projector remote app takes some consideration. Many of these apps, even though they cover a pretty wide variety of models, are specific to different types of projectors — in most cases the newest series or standalone products. However, if you are deciding to download a generic, networkable projector control app, a Wi-Fi connection is all that you need to get access to the projector in reference.
Choosing the best projector remote app is completely dependent on your environment, your equipment and the type of tasks you are going to need done. Check out the slideshow for examples of projector remotes that will help you get the most out of your projector and your presentation.

I’m sorry to bother you with this question.
I have an Epson PowerLight 1761W projector for which I have no remote.
I will order a new one in the next future, but in the interim, can you suggest an Android app/universal remote for this machine.
I tried PeelSmart remote. …. no go.
Thank you, regards,
Chris L

Appreciating the persistence you put into your
site and detailed information you offer. It’s great to come across
a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Great
read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

The materials are great, the fit and finish is a little lacking. Had to finish pounding the grommets in and cut off hanging strings, but for the price, I can’t really complain

Try the “universal projector remote control” it works for me. I just troll around in school playing with the school projectors.
