Collaboration systems have continued to advance and allow for more engaged learning experiences, and Kramer’s new VIA Campus tool, announced at InfoComm Connections, aims to further improve classroom collaboration through features that simplify the way students and teachers present, share and edit their work.
Kramer has seen great success with its previous VIA wireless presentation and collaboration solutions, but after speaking with education experts, Kramer shifted its focus towards education and developed VIA Campus to help enhance student engagement in the classroom. But that isn’t the only place that VIA Campus can thrive, as the product aims at corporate training facilities as well.
VIA campus supports BYOD learning environments by allowing users to connect and present to a main display via a laptop, computer or mobile device, and offers Mac, PC, iOS, Android mirroring and third-party apps for remote learning and collaboration.
Furthermore, users can edit documents, use the display as a digital whiteboard, share any size file and stream full-frame HD video.
VIA Campus also offers “e-polling” for instant surveys and “e-xam” features for multimedia tests with immediate feedback.
“We believe VIA Campus will transform the training experience, helping customers engage their students better and create a more efficient and satisfying learning environment,” says Neta Lempert, VP of digital business development at Kramer.
Watch Michael DiBella, director of collaborative solutions for Kramer, discuss VIA Campus at InfoComm Connections 2015 and how it allows for easy collaboration in the classroom.
