One of the best ways to see and experience new AV products is to take in an industry show. And in case you missed Infocom this year, Almo Professional AV and its education partner AVIXA, are hosting its third in a series of day-long E4 events, Sept. 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Boston. Whether you’re looking to attend one of the many scheduled sessions or workshops, or want to bring clients to experience the technologies, E4 will offer a unique opportunity to experience new AV technology in a smaller, more intimate venue.
Bring Clients to your Own Personal Showroom
Like having your own new product showroom, the E4 modest-size exhibit hall is ideally suited for integrators to bring their end-user clients, according to Melody Craigmyle, vice president of marketing and communicatios, Almo Corporation. Another plus for integrators: “E4 is small enough to get that exclusive one-on-one time with top manufacturers to talk about the projects you are working on, but also large enough to have all of the newest industry products that perhaps launched at InfoComm but haven’t began shipping until now.”
Some of the products that will be displayed this Friday during the Boston leg of the E4 AV Tour:
AVOCOR F2 Series AVF-6550 Touchscreen: The 65-inch product combines display technology and touchscreen innovation.
BrightSign Series 4 XD and XT Players: These new models are designed to support Dolby Vision and HDR10+
Epson Lightscene EV-100 Digital Signage Projector: This laser projector creates stunning visual displays and immersive environments for a variety of applications.
Middle Atlantic UB Huddle Space: This is an all-in-one furniture solution for collaboration spaces that maximizes equipment and cable storage.
NEC V864Q 86-Inch 4K Panel Display with RPi: Its contemporary and slim design creates a smooth and stylish integration into retail, transportation, financial and healthcare environments.
Samsung CE Frame TV 2018: The Frame TV now features HDR10 and is Bixby voice command-enabled.
Peerless-AV SmartMount SR598ML3 Motorized Cart Lift: Designed to safely mount, move, and store an interactive display, actuators allow the cart to raise or lower a display up to 25.6 inches with the touch of a button.
Bone Up On Your AV Knowledge
In addition to the exhibits, scheduled are 13 sessions covering topic including HDBaseT Certification, The Future of Digital Sinage, Power and Grounding Best Practices, and more. Industry veterans from Almo, AVIXA, Barco, LG, and others will also share their insights during speaking engagements.
Special Guest
Sponsored by Sharp, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., E4 attendees can meet former New England Patriots receiver, Super Bowl XXXIX MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion Deion Branch.
