Almo Professional A/V has never settled for being just a distributor, demonstrated by its thought-leadership-focused array of business development managers and various dealer programs. The 2018 edition of Almo E4 AV Tour, meanwhile, reinforces that it’s also not content to just offer a product showcase as it embraces an “experience AV” concept.
The first stop on the Almo E4 AV Tour, March 6 outside Washington, D.C., did feature plenty of new products with 35 exhibitors, but as Melody Craigmyle, VP of marketing, explains, “We are really embracing this concept of experience AV.”
That translates to elements such as:
- E4 Experience AV Workshops on introduction to interactive digital signage and “A Revolution in Control System Programming”
- A Barco UniSee Showcase (check it out)
- A primer on Biamp Devio, a new offering from Almo Pro A/V and a key component to its focus on huddle spaces
- Solutions corners in which attendees can really dive into a challenge or a product category
“People can come and not just see products but see products working together in an environment and really get a sense of how all of these pieces fit together into a total solution for their customers,” Craigmyle says.
