Audiovisual communications solutions provider ClearOne has released the DIALOG 10 USB, a new single-channel wireless microphone system for videoconferencing, live streaming and public events.
According to ClearOne, the DIALOG is the industry’s only single-channel wireless mic system that features professional-quality audio with USB connectivity. The company says the system is designed for public events, live streaming, studio demonstrations, classroom presentations, personal events, meetings and conferences.
The company says the device offers plug-and-play setup and is ideal for webcasting and cloud-based collaboration with popular conferencing apps, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, GoToMeeting and more.
Setup is via a USB Type C cable that connects directly to any PC for audio, power and control with no external power source of audio cables required.
ClearOne’s DIALOG 10 USB boasts a wireless microphone system that offers a “robust frequency-spectrum technology with no frequency license restrictions worldwide.” The system also features an auto-scan function that finds open channels for optimal reception.
For security, the system features a standards-based FIPS 197 AES-128 encryption for wireless audio. .
“Wide audio bandwidth provides superior speech clarity, and ultra-low audio latency significantly enhances the audio experience,” ClearOne says is a press release. “The new DIALOG 10 USB delivers exceptionally high-quality audio at a very affordable price.”
The company offers a range of microphones for specific settings, including handheld, boundary, gooseneck, lanyard, headset and lavalier options.
For multi-user environments, users can be assigned their own microphone to pair with a common room receiver that has a large color LCD for viewing battery life, signal strength and programmable mic ID labeling. Microphones can also be powered by AA batteries.
The compact, plenum-rated receiver can be mounted on a desktop, credenza, under a table, behind a video display, or even hidden above a ceiling, according to ClearOne.
