QSC Joins Microsoft Teams Certification Program

QSC has announced that it has joined the Microsoft Teams Device Certification Program to enhance the Q-SYS Ecosystem’s integration with Teams Rooms.

The popular conferencing and audio equipment manufacturer is working towards completing specific solution certifications aimed at further empowering effective meetings and collaboration with Teams Rooms and the Q-SYS Ecosystem in larger, more complex room types.

According to Microsoft’s website, certification would ensure that the Q-SYS devices are ready to work with Teams out of the box and offer call control with no additional configuration. That could include a dedicated Teams button with LED indicator that makes it easy to control Teams meetings.

On its website, QSC says the Q-SYS Ecosystem allows for universal interoperability and connectivity via USB for all major web conferencing applications, including Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans and Skype for Business.

“The Q-SYS Ecosystem has always provided solutions for audio, video and control for a multitude of installations and room types; however, it has become critical to our customers to bring the full potential of Microsoft Teams Rooms to these installations,” says Jason Moss, VP of Alliances & Market Development, QSC.

Albert Kooiman, director of Microsoft Teams Devices Partner Engineering and Certification, adds QSC joins a growing lists of manufacturers supporting Microsoft Teams’ collaboration solutions.
