On this episode of the My TechDecisions Podcast, we are joined by Dan Ferrisi, editor-in-chief of Commercial Integrator and Jason Knott, editor-in-chief of CE Pro, to discuss why IT professionals should attend Commercial Integrator Expo.
Commercial Integrator Expo, which will be co-located with CEDIA Expo next September 6-9, 2023 in Denver, CO., will be a full featured exposition and conference addressing the needs of today’s fixed installation professional audiovisual systems professionals and technology managers in corporate, higher education, hospitality, retail and resimercial market settings. The new event will feature a dedicated commercial AV exhibit show floor and robust conference program supported with instruction by industry experts and supporting organizations to be announced.
The co-located show with CEDIA Expo, the largest residential technology trade show and conference, comes at a pivotal time for IT managers as they continue to build out their remote and hybrid work models with new technology, much of which comes from the professional audiovisual industry. IT leaders can learn about the residential and commercial crossover and speak directly with the solution providers designing technology that can help their end users remain productive regardless of where they choose to work.
The new trade show and conference also comes amid a shift in strategies among manufacturers and solution providers that prioritizes ease of use and simplicity in AV system design. For example, all-in-one videoconferencing bars and displays are new categories designed to help organizations quickly and easily set up conferencing spaces.
IT professionals can also interface directly with integrators and service providers to learn about new trends and how the pro AV channel can help them and their end users do their jobs.
