The 1100TEL is a device that provides access to a GLOBALCOM system to allow announcements and messages to be made from a VoIP telephone system. It supports up to eight simultaneous active VoIP audio channels. The interface allows users to make live announcements, delayed (recorded) announcements, or launch pre-recorded messages by using either the DTMF interface or based on the telephone extension used to access the device.
Up to eight extensions can be defined to function as an interactive microphone station. Each extension will prompt the user to enter codes for announcements or messages based on pre-defined prompt templates.
In addition to the prompting extensions, up to 32 Direct Action Extensions can be defined. When a user calls in to a Direct Action Extension, a pre-configured action will launch immediately when the 1100TEL answers that extension. This allows you to define system actions that are based on the telephone extension dialed by the user.
Each telephone extension functions as a basic SIP phone device using G.722 or G.711 protocols.
