AXIS Camera Station S1296 Rack Recording Server
The AXIS Camera Station S1296 Rack Recording Server is built with powerful components, offering a high-performance solution for high-powered applications and features. It is available in two variants with a choice of storage: 96 TB and 192 TB. Thanks to a RAID controller with high cache memory, the AXIS S1296 minimizes the risk of recording gaps, downtime, and data loss. This secure device also complies with government policies and uses a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that is FIPS 140-2 level 2, which increases the security of the product and ensures recorded video is stored encrypted on the hard drive. Additionally, if the system crashes, built-in operating system recovery stored on the device ensures data can be quickly recovered. Offering great scalability, the AXIS S1296 makes it easy to expand systems as they grow – without the need for additional hardware. It includes 96 AXIS Camera Station licenses, and users can expand their systems up to a recording bitrate of 1.5 Gbit/s (approximately 150 channels). Plus, with multiple RAID configurations (levels 0/1/5/6/10), the server provides flexible system storage with easy expansion and redundancy based on a user’s specific requirements.
